Logan's Birthday!

Logan turned EIGHT years old this year!! Where has the time gone? I can't believe that my little boy is not so little anymore. He was so excited to turn 8. So many exciting things happen when you turn 8. He gets to be baptized, start Cub Scouts and he gets to start going on hunting trips with his Dad! This year we seemed to celebrate the entire week. We had a fun family party where we celebrated Logan's, his cousin Kylie's, Grandma's, and Aunt Becca's birthday! We went swimming with cousins on the actual day of his birthday and had a friend party a few days later.

Logan's cousin Heath made a long board customized just for him!

We had a swim party for Logan's friend party. That morning we woke up to rain and cold. I was a little panicked. I had only planned for warm weather. We ran to Smith's to get some things for an inside party. Well, we lucked out. Right before the party started the clouds parted and the sun came out and it warmed right up. As soon as the party was over and everyone had gone home it started to pour rain!

We are so glad that Logan is a part of our family!

Baseball Man

Logan is our little sports man. He loves all sports but baseball is one of his favorites. After the regular season was over he had the opportunity to try out for the Farmington All-Stars and made one of the teams. Needless to say he was very excited. So baseball consumed our lives for almost 4 months. His all-star team practiced almost every day and we had 3 different tournaments that they played in. He learned so much and had a great time! Travis was able to be one of his coaches. It was great for them to be able to spend so much time together. Abby was a super trooper going to all of his games.
His team was also able to be in the Farmington Festival Day's Parade. He was so excited. This was the first time that he was able to be in a parade.

Getting ready to bat.

Resting in between games.

Logan and Travis. The coaches were required to be in full uniform! Travis was less then thrilled about the white baseball pants.

Here comes the float!

Aspen Grove

We started our summer off a few days before school got out at beautiful Aspen Grove!
Aspen Grove is a family camp that is up Provo Canyon just past Sundance. It is such a great family camp. The kids have camp groups, all of your meals are provided and the adults get to relax and pick whatever activity that they want!
All of the younger grandkids playing on the bear statues.

Random Updates!!

I have seriously negleted my blog. I have not posted for about 4 months! I have decided that I can not go back and blog everything so I have decided to just post some of the highlights of the past few months!
Abby has learned to ride her bike without training wheels! She absolutly loves it! I can hardly get her off her bike. She can do all sorts of tricks and tells me everyday that she need a bigger bike!
Here she is the first time she rode without her training wheels.
Abby had her spring recital! She worked very hard and did a fantastic job.
We are so proud of her. She loves to dance!

Here she is with her cousins Kylie and Nikell. It is fun to be able to take dance at the same place as cousins!

Logan had a field trip to the Zoo. I was lucky enough to be able to go along. We had a great time together. It was a hot day though. The first 90 degree day of the year!

Logan with our group on the bus on the way to the Zoo.

There was a Zoo worker out holding a snake that she was letting the kids pet. Here is Logan petting the snake.

Logan and I on heading home on the bus!

Abby had her pre-school graduation. She has had the most fun at pre-school. She has the most awesome teachers. They have so much energy and truly love what they do. Abby is going to miss them over the summer.

Here we are after the program.

Boy! That is a monster post! I am determined not to let this much time go by agian so that I will be able to document more things!

Long Weekend

Over the long weekend I decided at the last minute to take the kids down to St. George. I was feeling restless. I was sick of the cold weather and the inversion. I just needed to get away! I loaded up the kids and off we went. The kids were so excited to see their cousins. Especially their new cousin Ellie. Grandma and Grandpa were there which made it even more fun.

The weather was so beautiful. On the day we got there it was 63 degrees. The kids immediately played outside. The sun was shinning so bright.

Here is cute little Ellie Marie!

On Saturday we decided to go to Zions. It was such a beautiful day. We took a picnic lunch and did some hiking. The kids enjoyed running around in the sun.

Grandpa with Adrie and Abby in Zions.

Logan and Macy in Zions. Notice the deer in the background. They were all over the park. They did not seem the least bit afraid of all the people. They would let you get very close.

Adrie, Macy, Logan and Abby at the park. Another gorgeous day! Logan is such a good sport to hang out with all the girls!
